Job Summary:Responsible for the design, procurement, implementation, and validation of automation and capital equipment.
Duties include hardware/software troubleshooting, programming, system management, and maintenance.
Collaborates with engineers and operations teams to sustain and enhance equipment performance and functionality.Job Responsibilities:Deliver robust, cost-effective automation and process control systems to Entegris manufacturing processes.Interact with external system integrators and machine builders to successfully deliver fully integrated process equipment systems to Entegris on-time, on-budget, and that satisfy performance measures.Serve as the internal subject matter expert in SCADA systems, manufacturing system integration, sensors, electro-mechanical devices, and robotics technologies.Work with the cross-functional team to solve OT problems, resolve project-related issues, and develop a fundamental understanding of technical/process requirements critical to system success.Develop OT architectures, functional specifications, and system integration requirements to meet process and manufacturing requirements.Execute project assignments in a team-based environment with minimal supervision.Provide control systems training to other Entegris engineers and technicians.Job Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, automation engineering, or other related areas of study.5 years of experience with a demonstrated history in designing, developing, and implementing robust state-of-the-art control solutions using machine/motion control systems, robotics systems, and electro-mechanical systems in manufacturing.Practical knowledge of SCADA systems (Ignition preferred), programming in Python, JAVA, or other high-level languages, MS SQL Database, PLC (Keyence, Omron, Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.
).Experience using one or more Industrial Control Programming and Development Environments (Studio 5000, Ignition).Experience with industrial network protocols such as RESTful API, OPC-UA, Modbus, SEC/GEMS.Experience with industrial communication protocols such as RS-232 and RS-485.Experience in managing new product or process from development up to manufacturing.Experience in handling high-end automation in the manufacturing industry.
