**Technical Assistant Job** **Duties**:- Carry out repair and service of vehicles according to recommended repair and service standards as mentioned in Service Manuals or standards set up by Nationwide Service Division and the Training Center.- Diagnose and detect mechanical faults with vehicles using diagnostic equipment.- Ensure repair and service jobs are performed within time frame (promise time) indicated in Repair Order (RO) to ensure timely completion of repairs and delivery to customer and if delay should inform Service Advisor (SA) in advance for promise time revision with customers.- Perform quality control check on vehicles to ensure service quality reflecting Nissan brand image.- Ensure comeback of vehicles to the minimum levels.- Ensure proper care of customer vehicles and belongings.- Proper usage and responsible for safekeeping of designated individual tools as provided.- Comply with 5S practice, maintain cleanliness and tidiness of workshop bay and individual tools cabinet at all times.- Comply with After-Sales Dealership Operation Standards (ASDOS) requirement.- Comply with all workshop safety standards for protections against accidents, hazardous fluid etc., including performing regular hoist inspection as per requirements and proper disposal of hazardous materials as per guidelines provided by Environmental Health and Safety (EHS).- Participate in Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) improvement activities.- Undertake other ad hoc duties as assigned.**Required Skills**:- Knowledge of procedures of automotive repair and maintenance- Good diagnostic and problem solving skills- Able to use independent judgment to fix or proffer solution(s) to problem(s) in real time- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation- Innovative and ability to learn and adapt fast to changes in diagnostic and repair technology- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals- Contributes fully to the team effort and plays an integral part in the smooth running of workshop operations- Coordination and physical stamina**Qualification**:- Educated and/or certified: at least a Higher Secondary, Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 1/2/3, Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent- Preferably specializing in Engineering - Mechanical / Automotive or equivalent- Valid driving license- At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field**Salary**: RM1,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month**Education**:- Malaysian Special Skills Certificate (preferred)**Experience**:- Mechanic: 1 year (preferred)License/Certification:- driving license (preferred)
