Purpose of the Job
The Bid Executive is responsible for the preparation of an offer in accordance with the proposal scoping note, based on the validated commitments of all Lot Managers, and for the preparation of the initial project reference that will be transferred to the Project Manager.
Description of significant activities:
The Bid Manager within an entity (GBU/BL/Domain) is responsible for the technical/programmatic and budgetary aspects of the bid.
As such, the Bid Manager must:
Be responsible for the organization of the Offer team and the achievement of the discount objective in the mandate given for this offer.
Lead a cross-functional team to deliver the proposal.
Guarantee compliance with the commitments of the proposal (customer satisfaction/performance) and consistency with the company's challenges and strategy.
Define the initial baseline of the project on the basis of a solution with regard to the client's requirements, the strategy and the rules applicable within the entity.
Launch the solution orientation and organize the planning of the future project.
Develop and validate the offer based on stakeholder engagement, managing the risks and opportunities of the future project.
Participate in the negotiation of the offer with the client.
Be responsible for the smooth transition from the offer to the project and participate in the preparation, organization and validation of the launch of the project.
Lead to the closing of the offer by capitalizing and sharing on the experience gained.
Qualification
Bachelor Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering (required)
Project management experience interest necessary.
Read and interpret documents such as schematic, technical drawings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Be an independent worker capable of listening, understanding, challenging, deciding, coordinating, and following-up who also works as a supportive team member.
