Responsibilities:
Developing detailed 3D models for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems based on design documents.
Identifying and resolving conflicts between MEP systems and other elements (e.g., structural and architectural components).
Working with architects, engineers, and other BIM professionals to integrate MEP designs into the overall BIM model.
Generating accurate MEP drawings, schematics, and diagrams from the BIM model for construction use.
Regularly updating the BIM model to reflect design changes and incorporating feedback from project stakeholders.
Creating reports and ensuring all MEP-related documentation is up to date and compliant with relevant codes and regulations.
Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the MEP elements within the BIM model, ensuring compliance with standards and guidelines.
Assisting and liaising with the Lead BIM Coordinator and the Management team in performing project tasks.
Job Qualifications:
A degree or diploma in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing engineering, construction management, or a related field.
Alternatively, candidates with certifications in BIM, MEP systems, or related disciplines with experience can be considered.
At least2-3 years' working experienceworking on BIM projects.
Strong proficiency in BIM Software such as Autodesk Revit (the primary software for MEP modeling).
Experience with MEP Systems, including HVAC, lighting, power distribution, fire protection, and water supply systems.
BIM Coordination and Clash Detection experience using tools like Navisworks for clash detection and resolving design conflicts is an added advantage.
Strong proficiency in generating and interpreting MEP drawings, details, and specifications.
Understanding of BIM Management & Practice (BEP, MIDP) and quality standards (ISO19650, PAS1192).
Understanding of LOD implementation in projects.
Understanding of building codes and standards (local, national, and international) related to MEP systems.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure that all MEP systems are properly modeled and coordinated.
Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and communicate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors.
Certification in BIM software (such as Autodesk Revit or Navisworks) or MEP-specific BIM training.
Experience in the construction industry.
Familiarity with the principles of modular construction and IBS, as Patience Modular focuses on prefabrication, is an added advantage.
Familiarity with MEP-Specific international standards (e.g., ASNZ).
Familiarity with MEP-Specific BIM Protocols and workflows for BIM modeling, coordination, and documentation.
Professional experience portfolio in relation to your previous experiences as proof of work is an added advantage (BIM Portfolio, etc).
