Bruker Nano Surfaces and Metrology provides solutions include atomic force microscopy instrumentation (AFM) and non-contact nanometer resolution solution topography through white light interferometry and stylus profilometry. In addition, the division manufacturers and markets automated X-ray metrology, automated AFM defect-detection and photomask repair and cleaning equipment for semiconductor process control.
Responsibilities SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: You will be based at Bruker Penang in Malaysia contributing directly to the design, test and release of our marketleading Atomic Force Microscopes. Responsibilities include the full range of product development from design, prototype, test, analysis and documentation of complex systems for precision imaging and metrology. You will be an integral member of the global team responsible for supporting and advancing the state-of-the art in nanoscale characterization technologies. This position requires strong initiative, close teamwork, technical curiosity and frequent communication.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Support the continuous evolution of AFM systems and hardware. This position will primarily work on the design, integration, testing and release of precision opto-electro-mechanical assemblies and products. Typical responsibilities include but not limited to:
