About the Branch Manager Role:
The Branch Manager will oversee daily operations, lead cross-functional teams, and drive business performance to achieve profitability and growth objectives.
This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders while ensuring operational efficiency and employee development.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily business operations, ensuring all departments perform efficiently and effectively.
Collaborate in the formulation and implementation of company policies while driving divisional activities to achieve long-term business and profitability growth objectives.
Analyze data and prepare reports to evaluate business performance, productivity, and competitiveness.
Foster strong relationships and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Recruit and onboard new team members, focusing on building a strong, growing team and ensuring employee retention.
Supervise training programs and monitor employee performance to maintain high standards.
Handle additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor for South East Asia.
To succeed in this role, one must demonstrate strong leadership and decision-making skills while effectively managing operations, fostering teamwork, and driving business growth.
Building strong stakeholder relationships, analyzing performance data, and adapting quickly to challenges will be key to achieving success.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the freight forwarding industry.
Proven expertise in profitability analysis and budgeting.
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure with a strong sense of urgency, adaptability, and accountability.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong leadership and management capabilities, including the ability to train and develop employees.
Willingness to travel as required.
