Building Technician - Part Time

Routine Maintenance and Repairs:
Perform regular maintenance on electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.Conduct repairs on building fixtures, equipment, and structures as needed.Troubleshoot and resolve issues with lighting, wiring, and related systems.Inspections and Preventative Maintenance:
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and building systems to detect any malfunctions.Schedule and carry out preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.Maintain detailed logs of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.Safety and Compliance:
Ensure that all building systems comply with safety standards and regulations.Address any hazardous conditions immediately and escalate if necessary.Implement and adhere to safety protocols to maintain a safe environment.Energy Management:
Monitor energy usage and identify areas for efficiency improvements.Assist in optimizing systems to reduce energy consumption and operational costs.Emergency Response:
Respond quickly to urgent building issues such as power outages, water leaks, or equipment breakdowns.Coordinate with vendors and contractors in emergencies and provide support during repairs.Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain records of all maintenance work, inspections, and inventory.Prepare reports on maintenance activities and submit recommendations for improvements.Vendor and Contractor Coordination:
Assist in coordinating work with external contractors for specialized services.Monitor the quality of vendor work to ensure standards are met.Support for Building Projects:
Assist with building improvement projects and new installations.Provide technical support and advice during renovation or construction work.
