Business Analyst (1-Year Renewable Contract) @ MidValley SouthkeyThis position works closely with the business and technical teams and is a major contributor to the requirements specification deliverable, writing the business and functional requirements.
The candidate must have a good understanding of business nature to ensure integration between business and technology.
The candidate is also required to perform data analysis on our current supply chain data to identify trends and issues and propose improvements.
In addition, he/she will support the planning of supply chain activities and the supply chain application systems for the department.
Responsibilities:
Engage with stakeholders to understand and respond to their needs
Create detailed business requirement documents and translate them into functional specifications
Recommend changes related to implementing a new business solution
Analyze and model existing business processes
Knowledge transfer of business requirements to developers
Conduct workshops and training sessions
Plan and perform Integration Test and User Acceptance Test (UAT)
Support in planning for supply chain activities and the supply chain application systems
Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science / Business IT / SCM
Min.
5 years of experience working as a functional or business analyst
Business analysis skills and experience in modeling business processes
Able to assess and validate activities to determine if a solution has fulfilled the requirements
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Client focused
Able to present/propose ideas clearly (verbal and reports)
Excellent communication skills (able to converse in English, Chinese, and Japanese to communicate with Japanese and Chinese colleagues and clients)
Able to work well in small groups
