Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and talented Analyst to join our team in Malaysia. This role will report directly to our Australian operations and have an administrative reporting line to our Malaysia operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical skillset and mindset, exceptional problem-solving skills and a passion for uncovering actionable insights from large data sets across multiple systems. As an Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
? Conducting analysis on large data pools to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
? Developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and other tools to track key performance indicators in relation to operations and resource management.
? Presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
? Continuously seeking opportunities to improve processes, systems and enhance data-driven decision-making. Page 2 of 2
? Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide analytical support for various projects. Requirements
? Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.
? At least 5 years' experience in an analytics or similar role.
? Proficiency in Excel (including VBA), SQL, PowerPoint and other data analysis tools.
? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
? Excellent communication and presentation skills. Competency in English is a must.
? Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
? Ability to work on Malaysian public holidays where it is a working day in Australia, and to sometimes follow working hours in Australia.
? Experience in workforce management systems (rostering, time and attendance) will be advantageous.
? Experience in LEAN Six Sigma is a plus
