Position Overview:
As a Business Development Executive at ASEM, you will play a crucial role in expanding our outreach and strengthening our engagement initiatives to study the ecosystems, build trust and open communications.
We are seeking someone with a proven track record of working with enterprise clients and academic institutions, hosting community events on semiconductor and AI, and closing deals with enterprise clients.
The ideal candidate will be aggressive, hungry, detailed, able to follow up meticulously and close leads effectively.
You will also be someone who is naturally curious, adaptable, open to changes, enjoys learning, researching, and humble.
Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Client Management: Develop and maintain relationships with enterprise clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and engagement.
Maintaining and deepening the relationships for mutual collaborations.
Academic Engagement: Build partnerships with academic institutions to promote our programs and collaborate on educational initiatives.
Community Event Hosting: Plan, organize, and host community events, including workshops, seminars, and networking events.
Lead Generation and Follow-up: Generate leads through various channels, follow up rigorously, and convert them into successful business relationships.
Strategic Meetings: Attend strategic meetings, take accurate minutes, prepare agendas, and develop presentation decks to support business development efforts.
Cold Calling and Emailing: Conduct cold calls and send emails to potential clients or partners as part of our outreach strategies.
Continuous Updates: Keep the supervising manager informed with regular updates on project progress and critical feedback from community interactions.
Requirements:
Graduated from a Bachelor's program in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Proven experience in business development, particularly with enterprise clients, academic institutions, and hosting community events.
Demonstrated ability to close deals and manage client relationships effectively.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint for creating impactful presentations.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Proactive, responsible, and keen on continuous learning and development.
Passion for semicon and AI technology and its applications in business and education.
Must have own transport to facilitate travel to meetings and events.
