The ideal candidate will possess both a business development and technical background that enables him or her to drive engagement.
He/she should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute strategies to increase market penetration across Malaysia.Job Purpose:
This role exists to manage the sales and business development operations in Malaysia.
The role has ownership of generating and converting pipeline & sales support of AMICI homegrown products to distributors.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Increase market share in the Malaysia market.
Responsible for managing assigned distributors and maintaining profitable long-term relationships while maximizing potential sales opportunities.
Maintain rapport by conducting periodic visits, exploring specific needs, anticipating new opportunities, and promoting company products to achieve sales targets.
Understand customers' current business and operational processes to propose the right fit of solutions & products, and understand customers' pain points.
Contract Closure: follow-up calls/emails, writing proposals, pricing negotiation, contract signing, onboarding, and account handover to global account management teams.
Create sales leads for distributors through cold calls, LinkedIn, emails, personal networking, events, etc.
Possess the technical ability to explain products.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Malay.
Understanding and respect for a multi-cultural work environment.
Constantly give feedback to marketing on lead and funnel quality and realign to target relevant segments.
Keep track of competition, pricing, and promotions being offered by competitors in the market.
