Apply locations: Malaysia - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - SelangorTime type: Full timePosted on: Posted 3 Days AgoTime left to apply: End Date: February 8, 2025 (25 days left to apply)Job Requisition ID:527861Key Responsibilities:Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the hospital sector and alternate business channels in Malaysia.Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business growth in these areas.Lead the distributor operations and manage a high performing field force sales team to new business opportunities and drive growth in existing channels.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including hospital administrators, healthcare professionals, and potential business partners.Analyze market trends and identify potential areas for expansion.Collaborate with Marketing & Commercial organizations to develop and introduce new products and services tailored to the hospital market and alternate channels.Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and partners to ensure favourable terms and conditions.Monitor and report on the performance of new business initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or Healthcare Management.Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, with a focus on the healthcare sector.Proven ability to develop and execute successful business strategies.Strong understanding of the hospital business and alternate business channels.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Willingness to travel nationwide.Skills/Competencies:Territory & distributor management skills.People management skills.Negotiation skills.Presentation/communication skills.Analytical skills - an ability to analyze industry competitors through use of available data.Coaching and developing a sales team.
