Job Overview:
TheBusiness Planning Analystworks closely with the Head of Supply Chain to transform planning data into actionable insights that inform strategic decisions.
Acting as a trusted partner to business unit leaders, this role involves collaborating with various teams to understand their objectives, analyze data, and present findings in a clear and impactful way.
The Analyst will also spearhead initiatives that drive organizational value and support sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct weekly reviews and discussions with internal stakeholders to present performance updates, future projections, opportunities, risks, and actionable strategies for optimizing inventory.
Oversee thePower BIplatform, managing infrastructure, data sources, models, dashboards, and reports.
Maintain the integrity, security, and efficiency of data systems, ensuring the platform meets organizational needs.
Design and build interactive dashboards, visualizations, and reports that analyze complex data sets to uncover trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
Collaborate with IT teams, data engineers, and analysts to ensure accurate and reliable data availability.
Perform data-driven and qualitative analyses to address business requirements, providing insights for senior management on key areas such as forecasts and inventory value.
Assist in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives by coordinating with functional teams.
Support senior management decision-making with clear, concise reporting of insights and recommendations.
Undertake additional responsibilities as required.
Key Relationships:
Internal:Supply Chain Teams (e.g., Promotions, Inventory, Operations).
External:Customers and suppliers.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
Skills:
2–3 years of experience in supply chain or planning, preferably within FMCG.
Advanced skills inPower BIand data query tools such as Power Query.
Strong analytical and presentation abilities, with a knack for translating data into actionable insights.
Proven experience in forecasting and inventory planning.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Quick learner with the ability to grasp complex concepts and simplify them for diverse audiences.
Adept at handling large data sets and distilling them into meaningful insights.
Collaborative team player, comfortable working with diverse teams in-person or virtually.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in a related field.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
Work Environment:
Primarily office-based, with exposure to cold storage facilities, warehouses, and external business meetings as required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
