As a Business Process Analyst with a focus on supply and demand planning processes, you will play a crucial role in documenting, analyzing, and optimizing our organization's supply chain and demand planning operations. Your expertise in process modeling and documentation will be essential in enhancing efficiency, visibility, and compliance within the supply chain and demand planning functions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and process owners to create detailed process maps and ensure accurate representation of supply and demand planning processes in the BPMN-tool.
Responsibilities:
Process Documentation and Modelling:
Collaborate with business stakeholders and process owners to understand and document existing processes using BPMN notation.
Create detailed process maps, workflows, and diagrams that accurately represent the end-to-end processes and related activities.
Ensure that all process documentation is clear, consistent, and follows best practices in BPMN modelling.Process Analysis and Optimization:
Analyse the documented processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
Work with cross-functional teams to propose process optimizations and enhancements using BPMN-tool capabilities.
Validate process changes with stakeholders and ensure that process improvements align with organizational goals.BPMN-Tool Management:
Utilize BPMN-tool to create, update, and maintain process documentation in a centralized and accessible manner.
Stay up-to-date with the latest features and updates of the BPMN-tool and identify opportunities to leverage new functionalities.
Train team members and stakeholders on using the BPMN-tool effectively for process documentation and analysis.Process Governance and Compliance:
Ensure that all documented processes adhere to relevant industry standards, regulations, and internal policies.
Implement version control and change management protocols to maintain the accuracy and integrity of process documentation.
Collaborate with the various supply chain teams to validate process adherence and identify areas for improvement.
Act as a champion for process excellence, promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
Identify opportunities to automate processes or integrate other technology solutions to streamline workflows.
Monitor industry trends and best practices related to BPMN and process documentation to drive ongoing improvements.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Business Process project completion in time, quality & cost according to requirements.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, Management, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in business process management, process documentation, or related roles.
Experience driving process improvements in the area of Planning/Supply Chain/Manufacturing.
Working experience as a Planner / Process Analyst / Process Engineer / Industrial Engineer.
Strong proficiency in BPMN notation and experience using BPMN-tools for process modeling (e.g., Bizagi, Signavio, Camunda, etc.).
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify process improvement opportunities through data analysis.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and present complex concepts.
Project management skills to handle multiple process documentation projects simultaneously.
Understanding of process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Business Process Reengineering (BPR).
Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements related to business processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience facilitating and moderating process mapping & improvement workshops.
Familiarity with any ERP system preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
ERP integration for new ERP system roll out.
Consulting background preferred.
Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI/Tableau and DevOps.
