Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for planning, buying, sourcing, and expediting materials and commodities from approved vendor lists both locally and overseas.
Ensure on-time delivery of materials from suppliers while meeting quality requirements.
Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with local and overseas suppliers.
Maintain and execute supplier scorecard programs.
Work towards achieving objectives such as inventory management, cost reduction, materials availability, and quality management.
Other duties as required.
Educational/Certification Requirement:
Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Industrial Systems Engineering.
Experience Requirement:
At least 2 years of working experience for a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical or equivalent.
At least 5 years of working experience for a Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical or equivalent.
Knowledge of MRP systems will be advantageous.
Able to perform in a fast-paced environment; preferably with experience from a manufacturing environment.
Possess good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
