Minimum Qualifications1-2 years experience dealing with various levels of Customers is preferable;
Proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking Vendors;
Excellent problem solving, communication, and time management skills;
Confident, resourceful, and able to build good rapport with both Customers and Vendors;
Independent and self-motivated;
Understanding of current market trends;
Knowledge of SAP is an added advantage.
Tasks & Responsibilities (Planner)Send weekly forecast and reschedule report to Suppliers;
Assess & issue Purchase Order when system triggers to buy parts;
Ensure production is supported with assurances of supplies;
Find and buy parts from stockists when production needs urgently but current vendor can't support immediately;
Give instructions to Supplier to bring in parts early when there is immediate shortage or hold shipment when there is demand drop;
Ensure the date Supplier commits meets the system request date;
Follow up on shipment to ensure parts are received on time and no delay.
Tasks & Responsibilities (Buyer)Monitor Customer forecasts or orders and manage system demand accordingly;
Issue production orders to production team on a weekly basis;
Check for material readiness and schedule production accordingly;
Coordinate and check on production running process, model, and daily output;
Coordinate with sample builds process and shipment;
Schedule and ensure on-time delivery to Customers;
Liaise with production, purchasing, warehouse, and shipping teams for any issues with the aim of ensuring goods are delivered on time to Customers;
Responsible for excess exposure claims due to demand cancellations or product end of life;
Contribute to workplace safety and health improvement for employees, as well as environmental protection, by adhering to the company's Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures, and helping to achieve EHS objectives and targets through participation in EHS programs;
Participate in any special projects/programs as assigned by the Company.
