Buying Administrator
We are looking for a back-office buying administrator to support the efficient and effective operations of our purchasing department at Motherswork. This role will be based in Bukit Damansara, Kuala Lumpur.
You will be working under our senior buyers based in Singapore and be exposed to learning the critical roles played by the purchasing department in the smooth operations of a retail business -– where the individual is responsible for the analysis of sales trends and inventory, so as to forecast sales with the view of optimizing inventory assortment and quantities to maximize sales.
Responsibilities
Analysis of historical sales data and propose purchase order quantities.
Prepare purchase orders & necessary documents and ensure timely delivery of products.
Prepare info sheet for new products, cost and price creation in our system.
Coordinate with POS admin and marketing team to deploy promotion activities to stores.
Support buyers on product costing.
Maintain new products & discontinued items master file for users.
Follow up with suppliers on delivery shortages and defective products.
Review and highlight slow moving inventory.
Analysis of brands sales performance including reports preparation and presentation.
To undertake whatever related duties or tasks that may be assigned by the Superior from time to time.
Requirements
University degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience in buying or sales support. Experience in FMCG products/ baby products an advantage.
Fluency in English.
Analytical, meticulous, sensitive and high level of proficiency in MS Office Excel.
Self-starter and independent.
This role will be based in Bukit Damansara, Kuala Lumpur.
