**Job description****Duties and responsibilities**:- To conduct inspections of solar PV plants as per maintenance plan, with scope of work (not limited to) below:- Perform monthly physical meter reading for sites that are not ready for online monitoring yet.- Perform testing works on LV AC and DC systems, such as insulation resistance test, continuity test, earth resistance test etc.- Perform general inspections on main switchboard, PV system, inverters, electrical panels etc. to ensure they are in good condition.- Record and monitor the performance of PV plant generation and report to the O&M engineers.- Check for relevant equipment and machinery fire-fighting systems and ensure compliances are met. Report any signs of fault or expiration.- Report any fire & safety/security related matters to the Manager- Perform any replacement/rectifications as and when necessary, as per instructed by the O&M engineers.- Liaise / supervise the sub-contractor's activities to ensure top-notch quality is upheld.- Provide technical assistance in QA/QC efforts during new project handover.- To submit reports with photo descriptions on the above-mentioned work scopes to the O&M engineers for endorsement on a timely manner, reporting frequency set accordingly.- Responsible to perform ELV, LV and DC work as and when required as per technical competencies acquired.- Assist the Head of Department to ensure the Service team's compliance to company policy guided by ISO processes.- To execute additional tasks, as and when assigned and when required by the dept/management.**Requirements**:- At least 2 - 3 years of on-site technical experience.- Ability to interpret nameplate specifications, drawings, schematics.- Able to work in a teamwork environment with minimum supervision.- Experience in solar PV plants will be added advantage.**Job Types**: Full-time, ContractContract length: 60 months**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
