Position Overview :
The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the company, ensuring its financial health, and providing strategic financial leadership. A key focus of this role is leading the company through the IPO process, working closely with senior leadership, investors, and external advisors to ensure a successful transition to becoming a publicly listed company.
Key Responsibilities :
IPO Preparation and Execution :
Lead and manage the company's IPO process, working with advisory firm, legal counsel, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
Prepare all necessary financial documents, filings, and disclosures required for the IPO.
Develop and implement strategies to meet public company requirements, including financial reporting, internal controls, and governance.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and listing requirements.
Financial Leadership :
Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Develop strategies to optimize the company's financial performance and positioning.
Lead financial risk management, including managing capital structure, debt, and liquidity.
Provide strategic recommendations to the top management based on financial analysis and projections.
Corporate Governance and Compliance :
Ensure the company complies with financial regulations and accounting standards.
Establish and maintain internal financial controls and reporting systems.
Work closely with the Board of Directors on financial strategy, risk management, and corporate governance matters.
Investor Relations :
Manage relationships with investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders.
Lead the development of investor communications, including quarterly earnings reports and annual reports.
Ensure consistent and transparent communication with shareholders post-IPO.
Team Leadership and Development :
Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
Foster a high-performing finance team capable of scaling with the company's growth.
Qualifications :
Possess Professional Accounting Certification or membership such as ACCA/CPA/MIA etc.
Currently holding a senior management position i.e. Financial Controller/CFO/Finance Director,preferably from the construction/property development industry.
Experience inpublic listed company or has experience in listing process.
Ability to speak in Mandarin due to business needs.
