Our sister company, Yuzu, is an Alternative Legal Services Provider. It is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Contract Negotiator for one of its clients, a leading international institutional investment firm. You will be responsible for negotiating and drafting contracts and agreements and liaising with legal teams across their global network. Expertise in contract law, attention to detail, and strong communication skills are essential.
This role is a full-time, permanent position, initially working remotely with a view to being on-site at the client's offices.
ResponsibilitiesContract Negotiation: Engage in negotiations with clients, vendors, and partners to establish mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
Drafting and Review: Prepare, review, and edit contracts, including but not limited to Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), service agreements, purchase orders, and licensing agreements.
Risk Assessment: Analyze contract terms, identify potential risks, and propose solutions to mitigate them.
Legal Compliance: Ensure that all contracts comply with legal requirements and company policies.
Formal qualification as a lawyer is not strictly necessary; this role is open to Paralegals, legal managers, or experienced negotiators with strong commercial contract review and management experience.
Qualifications2-6 years of experience in negotiating commercial contracts and NDAs.
Degree in Law.
Proven experience in contract negotiation and drafting.
Familiarity with NDA and confidentiality agreements reviews and negotiations.
Excellent command of English and Chinese Mandarin (both written and spoken).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Experience in handling and reviewing commercial arrangements with cross-border Asia application.
Experience working for a bank, private equity or venture capital firm, hedge fund, or asset management firm, either in-house or externally as a legal services provider, would be a bonus.
MNC, conglomerate, international or regional law firm, or major company legal experience is preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr
