JOB DESCRIPTION Support activities in the kitchen, including food preparation, measure meal ingredients accurately and productionPreparing meals by washing, peeling, and chopping fruits and vegetables and seasoning different kinds of meatReceiving deliveries and verifying that all ordered items are received and are good quality. Monitor holding and storage operations, stocking and food rotation, and guarantee food service sanitation standards are metTaking inventory of restaurant supplies and notifying the Sous Chef / Chef De Partie when stock is lowCleaning and ensuring that all the work stations are organized and properly sanitizedA key player as trainer, provide guidance of food quality, presentation and tasteEnsure efficient, cost-effective operation and profitability of food productionAssure adherence to all standards of food quality, preparation, recipes, and presentation in conjunction with the specificationsSupport of kitchen opening, closing and other side duties REQUIREMENT Graduated in Food & Beverage are welcomeAt least 1-2 year working experience in food/Beverage/Restaurant ServiceTeamwork, and Passionate about F&B career and keen to advance his/her managerial experienceExpert in Western Cuisine & Malay CuisineAble to work independently or as a team in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervisionWilling to work rotating shifts, weekend and public holidaysAbility to perform detailed work quickly, safely and able to comply with company SOP
