We are looking for dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaners to help maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment across our facilities. This role involves daily cleaning tasks, periodic deep-cleaning, and a commitment to health and safety standards. Cleaners will be responsible for cleaning office spaces, production areas (if applicable), restrooms, canteen, and any other designated areas within our company facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Cleaning Tasks
Office Areas: Dust and wipe down surfaces, desks, tables, and office equipment. Empty trash bins, replace liners, and ensure recyclables are sorted correctly.
Floors: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors daily, ensuring all surfaces are free from dust and spills. Spot-clean carpets and rugs as necessary.
Restrooms: Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, mirrors, and surfaces. Refill soap dispensers, hand sanitizers, paper towels, and toilet paper.
Canteen/Cafeterias: Clean countertops, tables, and chairs. Empty trash and recycling bins, wipe down appliances, and ensure the area is hygienic.
Common Areas/Break Rooms: Dust and disinfect surfaces, including furniture and fixtures. Maintain cleanliness in high-touch areas like door handles, light switches, and communal seating.
Weekly and Monthly Deep-Cleaning Tasks
Windows and Glass Surfaces: Clean all glass surfaces, including windows, doors, and partitions.
Floor Care: Buff, polish, or deep-clean floors as needed. Shampoo carpets periodically.
High Dusting: Remove dust from high surfaces like ceiling vents, shelves, and light fixtures.
Upholstery Cleaning: Spot-clean and sanitize upholstery and fabric surfaces.
Specialized Cleaning (if applicable)
Production Areas/Warehouses: Clean and sanitize equipment, machinery, and surfaces as directed.
Outdoor Areas: Sweep walkways, collect litter, and maintain the cleanliness of entryways and surrounding areas.
Health and Safety
Follow proper safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Wear protective gear (gloves, masks, etc.) when necessary.
Report any safety hazards, repairs, or maintenance needs to the supervisor immediately.
Ensure cleaning products are stored safely and away from public areas.
Qualifications
Experience: Prior experience in commercial or industrial cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Skills and Abilities:
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleanliness
Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting (up to 25 lbs.), bending, and standing for extended periods
Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals, including proper handling and storage
Basic knowledge of hygiene practices and safety standards
Good time-management skills and the ability to work efficiently without close supervision
