Board Appointments (CEO & General Management)
We are looking for a reliable, safety-conscious, and customer-orientedCompany Driverto join our team. The driver will be responsible for transporting the Directors, materials, and goods to and from various destinations in a timely, safe, and efficient manner. The role also involves maintaining the company vehicle in good working condition, performing routine inspections, and ensuring all deliveries and trips are completed in compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Transportation:Safely and efficiently drive company vehicles to transport the Directors, goods, and materials to various locations.
Follow planned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries or pick-ups.
Assist with loading and unloading goods, if required.
Ensure that all necessary delivery paperwork is completed accurately.
Vehicle Maintenance & Safety:
Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
Report any vehicle issues, damages, or concerns to the fleet manager for timely repair or maintenance.
Keep the vehicle clean, both inside and out, and ensure it is well-stocked with necessary items (e.g., first aid kit, safety equipment, etc.).
Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and maintenance activities.
Compliance & Regulations:
Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Ensure the vehicle complies with all road safety standards and environmental regulations.
Maintain appropriate documentation, including driver logs and delivery receipts.
Customer Service:
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients, vendors, or staff members.
Assist with customer or client deliveries, ensuring packages are handled and delivered professionally and securely.
Administrative Support:
Keep detailed logs of trips, including destinations, delivery times, and fuel usage.
Submit any relevant documents such as receipts, delivery notes, or inspection reports to the appropriate department.
Be prepared to respond to emergencies or unplanned situations (e.g., vehicle breakdown, traffic delays, accidents) in a calm and efficient manner.
Required Qualifications:
Education:High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:Proven experience as a driver, with a solid track record of safe driving.
Licensing:Valid (country/state) driver's license and clean driving record (no major violations).
Skills & Abilities:Strong knowledge of local routes, traffic patterns, and road safety regulations.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
Ability to lift and carry heavy items (when required).Additional Requirements:Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and minor troubleshooting.
Ability to work flexible hours as needed.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience driving commercial vehicles or larger trucks (if relevant).
Familiarity with GPS systems and route planning software.
Basic knowledge of the company's products or services (if applicable).
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position that may require occasional overtime or weekend work.
Must be able to work in varying weather conditions and travel long distances when required.
Occasional overnight stays may be required depending on the nature of the trips.
