Job Summary: -We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager for East Malaysia with over 10 years of expertise in managing large-scale projects, particularly in water/wastewater services and infrastructure development.
The ideal candidate will have a proven history of successfully handling major government projects, demonstrating exceptional project management and leadership skills.
This role requires overseeing site activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while effectively coordinating with clients, contractors, and consultants.
Responsibilities: -To monitoring site activities on projects to ensure corporate objectives on cost, time and quality are met.
-To review and evaluate consultants' design and perform value engineering to enhance cost effectiveness.
-To plan and monitor project implementation plan.
-To implement project planning and ensure projects are executed in compliance with technical specifications, construction drawings and approved method of works.
-To participate in the evaluation of technical capabilities of participating tenderers in projects under the Company.
-To assist in organizing meetings, preparing meeting records and coordinating / implementing agreed actions.
-To coordinate and monitoring among clients, main contractors and sub-contractors to meet corporate objectives.
-To liaise with clients, vendors, consultants, specialists, internal departments/section and any other persons as needed to ensure the fulfillment of his / her duties.
-To plan, monitoring and lead for the mechanical / equipment delivery, installation, testing and commissioning works.
-To lead, guide and train subordinates to perform their duties effectively and independently.
-To undertake other jobs assigned by superiors as required.
