Continuing Airworthiness Management (CAMO), ExecutiveTo ensure the ongoing airworthiness and safety of aircraft within the organization. This role involves overseeing the maintenance, repair, and overall management of aircraft's airworthiness status throughout its operational life.
JOB SUMMARY
To uphold the airworthiness and safety standard of the aircraft under company or department responsibility, while also optimizing operational efficiency and minimizing downtime.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
To ensure that the organization complies with all relevant aviation regulations, airworthiness & manufacturer requirement.
To ensure the developing & implementing maintenance programs or maintenance planning for each aircraft, including scheduled inspections, repairs and component replacements.
To ensure maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance activities, inspections, repairs and modifications performed on the aircraft.
To ensure managing and updating technical documentation, including maintenance manuals, service bulletins, airworthiness directive, publication manuals, flight log and other necessary records.
To ensure proper documentation of inspections, repairs, modifications, as well as tracking ongoing airworthiness issues and their resolution.
To ensure coordination with vendors or manufacturer in purchasing aircraft parts and track the record of items.
To ensure that all maintenance is carried out in accordance with the approved maintenance programme and released in accordance with designated Civil Aviation Authorities.
To ensure CAM Manager/Executive to manage the approval of modification and repairs.
To ensure monitoring all applicable airworthiness directives and, operational directives with a continuing airworthiness impact.
To ensure that all defects discovered during scheduled maintenance or reported are corrected and executed appropriately by an Aerohandlers Sdn. Bhd or an approved maintenance organization.
To report if any occurrences of maintenance or engineering nature to the Maintenance Manager and together with QM report to Quality Assurance Department for immediate action.
To ensure Handling/Ordering of aircraft parts and coordinate with Supply Chain for parts core return.
SKILLS/ EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCES/ PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
Skills:
• Knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Civil Aviation Authority Malaysia (CAAM) requirements pertaining to aircraft maintenance and management planning
• Good communication skills
• Manpower and tasks allocation skills.
• Word processing, Spread sheet, Presentation development
• Good knowledge in CAMPS, Traxxall and other Maintenance Tools
Educational Qualifications:
• Minimum qualification In Diploma in Aviation Engineering Technology/ Aircraft Engineering Technology or Equivalent
Experiences:
• Minimum 6 years' experience in Maintenance Planning.
