AsContract and Paralegal Support Specialist , you'll report to the Team Lead within the Contract Services organization.
The Contract Support Specialist plays a critical role in providing support to relevant internal teams, particularly Legal and Procurement, ensuring accurate documentation and facilitating efficient contract processes.
Main responsibilities:
Contract Preparation: Assist in the preparation, review, and editing of contracts, collaborating with legal and procurement to ensure contract accuracy and compliance with relevant policies.
Contract Research: Conduct research of existing and related contracts and agreements, staying informed about relevant laws and regulations.
Documentation Management: Maintain organized, accurate, and up-to-date contract files and documentation, tracking contract lifecycle events, deadlines, and renewal dates in Coupa CLMa.
Communication and Coordination: Establish and maintain strong stakeholder and customer relationships, acting as a liaison between Procurement Services, Procurement, Legal, and Sanofi's GBUs and Corporate Functions.
Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify potential legal and contractual risks and collaborate with legal and procurement teams to develop strategies for risk mitigation.
Compliance Oversight: Ensure contracts adhere to laws, regulations, and internal policies affecting contracts.
About you
Previous experience in a legal support/contract specialist role or as a paralegal.
Advanced contract drafting skills.
Negotiation skills.
Strong understanding of legal terminology and contract principles.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Familiarity with contract management tools/software.
Fluent in English and Mandarin (spoken and written).
Additional languages are a plus.
Preferred:
Legal studies or paralegal certification.
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
Experience working in a corporate legal environment.
Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
