Job responsibilities: Drive Media Engagement and Coverage: Develop and execute media outreach strategies to secure positive coverage, including crafting press releases, responding to media inquiries, and pitching stories to targeted outlets.Lead Event and Campaign Management: Plan, organize, and support events, projects, and campaigns for both internal and external audiences to promote corporate objectives and increase engagement.Champion Sustainability Initiatives: Lead and collaborate on sustainability efforts focused on youth employability, climate action, humanitarian aid, and trade empowerment, ensuring alignment with corporate values and goals.Develop Consistent and Impactful Communications: Craft, review, and edit communications materials to maintain brand consistency, ensure clarity, and align with messaging guidelines across various platforms.Manage Vendor Relationships for Strategic Communications: Oversee external vendors, including agencies, to ensure the successful delivery of corporate communications, branding, and sustainability initiatives in line with business objectives.Oversee Intranet Content and Management: Lead the management of the company intranet, including the creation and curation of content that informs and engages employees. Job requirements: Degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Media, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or relevant fields.3-4 years' experience in a related capacity.Minimum two years of demonstrated communications experienceSoftware skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).Proficiency in written and spoken English.Strong portfolio of writing samples required.
