The incumbent will be responsible for the following tasks:
First and second level system support for various trade finance relevant operating systems. This includes (is not limited to) e.g. Dispatching, Sharepoint, Codoka, DMS, Trade AI and PHX.
Interface to product management for various trade finance relevant operating systems in head office.
Analyze and optimize existing standard operating procedures concerning to system functionalities.
Supervise and execute system testing for various trade finance relevant operating systems with regards to enhancements and new releases.
Ensure testing result for various trade finance relevant operating systems are delivered as per the test strategy and plan.
Facilitates improvement initiatives and helps to cultivate an excellence culture among the team members.
Establishes and maintains close working relationship with respective persons in charge in the processing teams and relevant counterparts within Commerzbank group to facilitate an open and direct communication of issues, needs, queries, etc. so that these are responded to in an efficient, prompt and professional manner.
Observes the bank requirements with respect to Compliance, AML, KYC and reputational risk issues (first level check) is indispensable in the daily course of activities.
Assure all key controls, daily functional checks and end-day reconciliations are carried out without fail.
Key Activities:Ensures that all assigned tasks are completed timely and accurately as per agreed SLA.
Monitors incoming Swift messages and email queries for various trade finance relevant operating systems.
Respond and resolve all mailbox queries, provide investigation details to next level in the event of escalation.
Escalate promptly to next level support or relevant channels if issue cannot be resolved within the team.
Communicate clear workable solutions to system users and have an ability to multi-task.
Cascade and document each system update release to users including communicate to stakeholders.
Adhere to all testing deliverables, including test plans, test cases, and test results. Maintain comprehensive tracking of testing information.
Provide system users with specific training by proactively prepare/update/provide proper training on system improvements.
Conduct annual review of existing manuals and SOPs. Track issue log (especially system down) with root cause analysis, severity, and resolved time.
Formal Education:University degree / diploma / tertiary education
Specialist Knowledge:Preferably Entry Level specialized in Business, Economics, Finance, Accountancy, Banking or equivalent.
Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply.
Minimum CGPA is 3.0 pointer.
Required language(s): Fluent verbal and written in both English are required.
Required Skill(s): MS Office Suite are a must. Knowledge of trade finance products knowledge, system technical terms and SQL programming language are an advantage.
NOTE: Successful candidates will be employed on a 6-months contract directly under Commerz Global Service Solutions Sdn Bhd. Upon completion of the Corporate Trainee Program, permanent employment.
