Job Description: Job Title: FileNet Developer Job Mode: Contract
Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement custom FileNet applications and solutions to meet business requirements. Customize FileNet P8 applications, repositories, workflows, and content storage configurations. Develop, test, and deploy custom workflows and business process automation solutions using FileNet Workflow. Integrate FileNet with other enterprise applications (e.g., databases, ERP, CRM, etc.)
via APIs and web services. Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into technical solutions. Implement and manage security configurations, access controls, and permissions for document management systems. Perform system upgrades, patches, and maintenance to ensure FileNet remains secure and up to date. Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues related to FileNet content management systems. Optimize and improve the performance of FileNet-based solutions. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong proficiency in FileNet P8 or similar ECM platforms. Experience in developing and customizing FileNet applications, workflows, and content management systems. Proficiency in Java and/or .NET programming languages for developing FileNet custom solutions. Hands-on experience with FileNet APIs, Web Services, and Java-based development. Experience with content management, document management, and workflow automation. Understanding of enterprise integration and system design. Knowledge of content repository architecture, including object storage, metadata, and document lifecycle. Ability to work with SQL and relational databases for data management. Familiarity with security configurations in FileNet (e.g., role-based access, permissions). Problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Skills: Experience with IBM FileNet Content Manager, FileNet Business Process Manager (BPM), and other related FileNet products. Experience with Document Management and Records Management solutions. Familiarity with RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and related technologies. Experience with Cloud-based solutions and FileNet deployment in cloud environments. Knowledge of agile development methodologies. Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 3+ years of experience as a FileNet Developer or in a similar ECM development role.
