Cost Accountant (Hybrid)Posting Date: 29 Oct 2024 | Close Date: 27 Jan 2025Client Background:A MNC companyIndustry:ManufacturingLocation:TTDI (near to MRT TTDI)Tenure:Permanent (Monday — Friday)Salary:Basic Salary + Bonus + with hybrid working arrangementResponsibilities:Oversee monthly and yearly financial closings, including budgeting and forecasting.Monthly financial performance analysis, including cost and revenue explanation and company monthly expenditure explanation.Generate monthly manufacturing reports, assessing budget vs. actual discrepancies.Build controls to ensure correct bill of materials (BOM) set-up, validation of BOM set-up and managing costs roll-up.Ensure alignment of local processes and compliance.Coordinate with production and operations team for product cost analysis and other analysis requests by management.Manage product costing for new and existing products, collaborating with other departments.Lead production-related projects, aiming to streamline and standardise KPIs through various information systems.Oversee BOM/Routing in the ERP system, ensuring cost accuracy and consistency for both new and existing products.Manage stock valuation, providing insights into stock movement and recommending process enhancements.Conduct other cost and revenue analysis or reporting for the Group.Requirements:6 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.Preferably in a manufacturing environment with evidence of exceptional ability.Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.Strong analytical and communication skills, particularly in summarising findings in numbers.Willingness to learn and ability to meet deadlines.Practical knowledge and/or experience in the application of different costing methodologies such as standard costing and activity-based costing.Computer literate with advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex Excel formulas for handling extensive volumes of data.Experience with manufacturing ERP systems is highly preferred.Good interpersonal competencies, attention to detail, and hands-on approach.Able to work independently and in a team with minimum supervision.Immediate availability is highly preferred.If you are interested in the position, kindly apply directly online by clicking on the "Apply" button or visit our job portal athttps://eps.my/jobseekers/ .Sub Specialization:Finance; CostingType of Employment:PermanentMinimum Experience:6 YearsWork Location:Kuala Lumpur#J-18808-Ljbffr
