Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experiencedCountry Managerto establish and grow our business operations in Malaysia. This role is ideal for a driven professional with a background incommercial office interior designandbusiness development , capable of building a team and driving the company's strategic goals.
Responsibilities
Business Setup & Operations: Lead the establishment of the company's operations in Malaysia, including setting up office facilities, hiring, and implementing operational processes.
Team Building: Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team to support business growth and client projects.
Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities, develop client relationships, and expand the company's market presence in Malaysia.
Project Oversight: Ensure successful execution of commercial office interior design projects, maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction.
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a growth strategy for the Malaysian market in alignment with the company's goals.
Financial Management: Manage budgets, oversee financial performance, and ensure profitability in the Malaysian operations.
Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison with the Director-owner based in Singapore, providing regular updates and aligning on strategic initiatives.
Requirements
Proven experience in commercial office interior design or related industries.
Strong background in business development with a track record of driving revenue growth.
Leadership experience with the ability to recruit, develop, and manage teams.
Hands-on operational management skills, including financial and project oversight.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
