Client is a food industry MNC with presence in multiple countries.
The Country Technical Sales Manager for Food Ingredients will be responsible for driving sales growth,
managing key accounts, and developing new business opportunities within the food ingredients sector. This
role requires a deep understanding of food ingredients, market trends, and the ability to build strong
relationships with customers.
1. Sales Strategy and Planning:
a. Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve company sales targets and expand
the customer base.
b. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business
opportunities.
2. Customer Relationship Management:
a. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts.
b. Understand customer requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs by conducting
regular customer visits and presentations to promote products and services.
3. Business Development:
a. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the market by collaborating with the
marketing team to develop promotional strategies and campaigns.
b. Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote the
company's offerings.
4. Product Knowledge:
a. Stay updated on industry trends, new product developments, and regulatory changes.
b. Provide technical support and product information to customers and the sales team.
5. Reporting and Analysis:
a. Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to the management.
b. Monitor sales metrics and KPIs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
6. Team Management:
a. Lead and manage the team members to achieve team targets
b. Coach and guide team members to be professional representative of the company
c. Lead by example
7. Other duties – perform any other ad-hoc tasks assigned to you from time to time.
Job requirements: -
• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Science,
Business Administration or equivalent.
• 10-15 years of working experience with a proven track record of successfully managing projects,
sales management, and enhancing team productivity.
• Strong understanding of food ingredients, their applications, and market dynamics.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Results-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
