About the Role:
In this role, you will be directly responsible for ensuring that all applications received from the Sales and Business Development team are properly filtered through an ever-sophisticated credit scoring system, keeping in line with CapBay's mission to provide smart and inclusive financing to SMEs whilst maintaining investors' trust in us.
Roles/Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be expected to:



-Provide credit evaluation on financing applications submitted by Business Units covering risk assessment,review appropriate facility structuring, and etc. This includes completion of credit papers / memos / term sheets for submission to relevant approving authority / Credit Committee for decision.


-Provide financial projections or sensitivity analysis for credit evaluation where necessary.


-Interview clients with Relationship Managers on site-visits if required.


-Perform independent post-approval reviews on credit accounts.


-Monitor loan portfolio repayments as well as conduct periodic credit review on accounts.


-Assess and ensure overall good health of the department's credit portfolio.


-Prepare ad-hoc reports and statistics.


-Involve in managing the efficacy of credit policies, guidelines and procedures.


-Participate / attend credit-related business development meetings with external parties.

; Requirements:- Requirements:
We are looking for someone with:



-Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Retail Business / SME credit analysis OR SME/Biz banking sales-relationship management experience


-Minimum a recognised Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting, Business Administration or related field.


-Equipped professional experience in Finance or Credit Analysis and/or with qualification in Credit Certified Professional (CCP)/ Professional Credit Certification -CCE/BCP from AICB /Omega CSA will be an added advantage.


-Strong analytical skills with a good grasp of financial analysis and cash flow projections.


-Must have sound knowledge of credit products, credit policy and procedures and regulatory requirements.


-Constantly updated to latest financial, banking, compliance, economic-related news/issues.


-Good interpersonal and writing skills with fluency in English and comprehension in Bahasa Malaysia.


-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; expertise in PowerQuery and PowerPivot and/or knowledge of VBA for Excel and/or JavaScript scripting will be an added advantage.
