Job Description
Roles, Responsibilities, and Authority:Ensuring close co-ordination with agents/partners in origin and destination for timely and smooth freight flow.
Resolve customers' queries by determining the cause of the problem and providing the best solution to solve the issue.
Handle all customers' enquiries timely and effectively.
Interface with multiple parties including customer, warehouse, carriers, customs, etc on shipment requirements.
Track and monitor shipments status and update customers accordingly.
Ensure all dangerous goods / hazardous cargo documents are in place and procedures are met with approval from the carrier where necessary.
Coordinate with Airfreight/3rd party for shipment booking.
Track shipment status from airport/port of origin until port/airport destination.
To perform billing and costing timely as per KPI.
Take charge of supplier's invoice disputes.
All other ad-hoc work instructions from Supervisor / Manager.
Qualification and Experience:At least a Diploma or equivalent qualification in Logistics / Supply Chain or equivalent.
Preferably having 2 years working experience in Freight Forwarding.
Basic understanding of freight forwarding and regulatory requirements including INCOTERMS.
Ability to communicate with customers and associates in person via e-mail and telephone in English.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Good interpersonal & communication skills.
Proactive and can be a good team player.
Working Days and Time:
5.5 days (Alternate Saturday)
Working time: 9am - 6pm (Monday - Friday)
9am - 1pm (Saturday - Work from home)#J-18808-Ljbffr
