The MR DIY Group is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Customer Service Officer to join our vibrant team in Kuala Lumpur. **Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Customer Interaction:**
- Respond promptly and effectively to customer inquiries via phone, email, live chat, and social media platforms.
- Provide detailed product information, assisting customers in making informed purchase decisions.
- Handle customer complaints with empathy, professionalism, and confidentiality, striving for resolution that exceeds expectations.
2. **Problem Solving:**
- Identify recurring customer issues and collaborate with the team to develop innovative solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Work proactively to resolve issues before they escalate, ensuring a seamless experience for customers.
3. **Feedback and Improvement:**
- Gather customer feedback and insights to report to management for continuous improvement of customer service processes and policies.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop new strategies for enhancing customer engagement and retention.
4. **Inventory Management:**
- Assist in monitoring product availability and inventory levels, ensuring customers are provided with accurate information on product stock.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a well-organized and presentable customer service area.
5. **Administrative Support:**
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback in the company's database.
- Prepare reports and assist in tracking customer service metrics to evaluate service quality and identify areas for improvement.
6. **Collaborative Teamwork:**
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, working closely with other team members and departments to improve overall service delivery.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance personal and professional skills in customer service and product knowledge.
**Requirements:**
- **Experience:**
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service or a related field, preferably in a retail environment.
- **Education:**
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; associate or bachelor's degree in business or a relevant field is preferred.
- **Personality Traits:**
- Hardworking with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Dedicated to providing excellent customer service and building long-lasting customer relationships.
- **Soft Skills:**
- Strong innovation and creativity skills to identify and implement new ways to enhance the customer service experience.
- Excellent people management skills, with the ability to engage and connect with diverse customer groups.
- **Technical Skills:**
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Comfortable navigating digital communication platforms and tools.
- **Language Proficiency:**
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Malay and Mandarin is a plus.
