Responsibilities:
Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze data related to risk and control metrics, including key risk indicators (KRIs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and control effectiveness metrics.
Report Generation: Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track and visualize risk and control metrics, trends, and performance against targets.
Insight Generation: Extract insights from data analysis to identify emerging risks, trends, and areas for improvement in risk management and control processes.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders, including senior management, risk management teams, and business unit leaders, through written reports, presentations, and data visualization.
Process Improvement: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes, automate manual tasks, and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of risk and control reporting.
Risk Mitigation: Support the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies based on insights derived from data analysis and reporting.
Compliance Monitoring: Assist in monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies through the analysis and reporting of relevant metrics.
Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc analysis and provide analytical support for special projects, audits, and investigations related to risk and control.
Required Skills
Proven experience in data analysis and reporting, with a focus on risk management and control metrics.
Knowledge of risk management frameworks, regulatory requirements, and control best practices is preferred.
Experience working in a financial services or regulated industry is a plus.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and extract actionable insights.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
