We're seeking a proactive and talentedData Analystto join our team in theAPAC region.The perfect fit will possess a mix of technical prowess, strategic acumen, and superb communication abilities. In this role, you'll spearheadcomprehensive analyses , collaborate closely with clients to pinpoint and address their business challenges.
Responsibilities:Perform exploratory data analysis on client datasets to evaluate data quality and its suitability for specific use cases.
Engage in collaborative discussions with clients to gain a thorough understanding of their business challenges and devise effective solutions.
Design ,develop , andtest data extraction ,transformation , and loading (ETL) pipelines using a combination of pre-built components and custom scripts as needed.
Create tailoredscriptsanddashboardsto meet client requirements and provide insightful data visualization.
Maintain project documentation and internal documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose enhancements to streamline project delivery.
Optimize data processingand cleansing procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Deliver occasional training sessions to clients, partners, or internal teams as needed.
You will mostly work on theAPAC customersso you need to be fluent in English language.
What do we expect from you?SQL with a focus on query efficiency and optimisation
Python/SQL for data transformations
Working with databases, especially PostgreSQL
Use REST APIs
Build ETL pipelines
Familiarity with data structures, types and modelling
Visualisation tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Metabase or Data Studio
Knowledge of the martech and adtech stack, including digital tracking in web and mobile applications
Version control systems such as Git
Experience with real business
Nice to have skills / knowledge:
Familiarity with AWS S3 and Google Cloud Storage
Experience with ad tech stacks (Facebook/Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads)
Shell scripting and command line experience in Linux environments
This position is open for candidates in APAC region - Malaysia, Philippines or Singapore.
