As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your creativity, contribute to menu innovation, and bring your unique flair to our culinary offerings.**Job Description**:- Prepare and cook food in accordance with recipes and menus- Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standard- Oversee the work of junior kitchen staff- Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered- Monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and development- Monitor portion sizes and waste levels- Assist in training and development of junior kitchen staff- Monitor food costs and portion control- Maintain records of food costs and inventory- Participate in menu planning and costing- Control costs whilst ensuring quality and service standards are not compromised.- Maintain a clean and organized work area- Ensure that all food is stored and handled properlyRequirement:- Applicant must possess at least a Higher Secondary/STPM/"A" Level/ Pre-U or Professional Certificate in Hospitality/Tourism/Culinary Management or equivalent.- Culinary school education is a plus- Experience in Asian Cuisine is required- Experience in stock and food ordering is a plus- Preferred 1 years experience in a kitchen setting- **Location: Japamala Resorts, Pulau Tioman****Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Health insurance- Meal provided- Opportunities for promotion- Professional developmentSupplemental pay types:- Yearly bonusApplication Question(s):- How much is your expected salary?
