Our client, a major real estate player in Malaysia, is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Deputy Group CEO to join their team in Malaysia.

A key focus of this role is managing high-level stakeholder relationships, particularly with government entities, regulators, and policymakers, ensuring alignment with public policy frameworks and fostering strategic partnerships.
What you'll do:Collaborate with the Group CEO to drive strategic initiatives and stakeholder engagement
Develop and execute long-term strategies
Oversee various divisions and departments
Lead and manage stakeholder engagement with government entities, regulators, and policymakers
Formulate and execute the organisation's vision, strategic plans, and policies
Oversee and evaluate financial and operational performance, including budgeting and reporting
Provide insights and regular updates to the Group CEO and Board of Directors
Support the implementation of crisis management strategies and resolve conflicts
Monitor the performance of various divisions and identify areas for improvement
Represent the organisation at conferences, events, and external communications
Develop internal and external communication strategies aligned with corporate objectives
Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to senior management
Ensure sufficient resources and skilled talent to achieve business objectives
What you bring:Minimum 15 years of experience across multiple functions, including at least 3 years in a senior executive position
Leadership experience spanning 5–8 years within Public Listed medium to large organisations or GLC organisations
Proven success in managing high-level stakeholder relationships with government entities, regulators, and policymakers
Demonstrated ability to execute strategic initiatives alongside C-suite executives or Board members
Completion of an Executive Leadership Program or similar advanced management training is advantageous
Professional certifications such as CIMA, ACCA, CPA, or PMP are highly regarded
Expertise in strategic management, change management, or organisational development
