Deputy Manager, Production

Job Description Assist the Production Manager in managing overall production activities including the manufacturing performance, workforce deployment, training and development of production team, machine line's maintenance, overall workplace housekeeping and new product/new process method development.
Implement and monitor quality and safety control measures to ensure that products meet required specifications and standards, such as ISO 9001/13485/14001/45001, Good Manufacturing Practices and US FDA QSR Management systems.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste and optimize processes.
Implement innovative solutions to improve product quality and reduce costs.
Supervise and develop production teams, including supervisors, operators and support staff.
Provide training, coaching and guidance to enhance skills and productivity.
Ensure effective maintenance and upkeep of production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
Coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repairs and upgrades Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory.
Optimize resource utilization to maximize production efficiency.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for production metrics and regularly monitor performance against targets.
Prepare reports and analysis to senior management on production activities and outcomes.
Collaborate with other departments, such as Quality Assurance, Engineering and Supply Chain to coordinate activities and resolve production-related issues.
Ensure seamless integration of operations across departments.
Proactively identify production challenges and implement effective solutions.
Make data-driven decisions to optimize processes and achieve production goals.
Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in production management.
Continuously improve personal knowledge and skills to drive innovation and efficiency Ensure that production processes are aligned with customer requirements and expectations.
Foster a customer-centric approach to deliver high-quality products on time.
Requirements Experience in managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock records and implementing effective reordering strategies.
Demonstrated ability to analyse production data, identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
Demonstrated knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
Junior executives with high motivation and fast learner are strongly encouraged to apply.
