Despatch Cum Driver

Key Responsibilities: • Delivery and Collection: Pick up and deliver documents, parcels, and other materials to designated locations.Ensure proper documentation of deliveries and collections.Maintain accurate records of all deliveries, receipts, and dispatch schedules. • Driving Duties: Drive company vehicles (e.g., cars, vans, etc.) to transport goods, staff, or other items as required.Ensure the safety of passengers and goods during transportation.Perform routine vehicle checks, including monitoring fuel levels, oil, and other vehicle functions.Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle. • Administrative Tasks: Assist with office-related duties such as filing, photocopying, or errands when not on delivery tasks.Support other departments with tasks as needed. • Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the vehicle is regularly serviced and well-maintained.Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or incidents to the relevant department immediately. • Compliance: Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.Handle sensitive or confidential materials with discretion. Requirements: Possess a valid driving license with a clean driving record.Proven experience as a despatch rider or driver, preferably in a corporate environment.Knowledge of local roads and traffic laws.Strong time management and organizational skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Good communication skills in [insert required languages].Physically fit and able to handle heavy parcels or goods. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with GPS navigation tools.Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous.Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
