Director Of Projects (Economics, Strategy, And Policy (ESP) Advisory)Faculty/Department: UCSI Consulting Group Sdn BhdAbout the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our consulting team focused on Economics, Strategy, and Policy (ESP) advisory. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a passion for driving impactful change in the public sector and for someone who can leverage economic insights to shape policy and development initiatives.
ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership: Oversee high-impact ESP consulting projects, managing all phases from bidding and strategy design to final delivery, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and project success.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government entities and C-level executives, through impactful presentations and strategic advisory.
Strategic Solutioning: Lead solution workshops and large-group discussions, fostering collaborative environments that drive innovative problem-solving and strategic outcomes.
Economic Modeling and Analysis: Utilise advanced economic modelling techniques (e.g., input-output models, GTAP) to deliver insights into demand, feasibility, and economic impact across sectors.
Thought Leadership: Drive thought leadership initiatives by producing high-quality reports and insights on emerging trends, policy implications, and strategic growth areas.
Business Development (Preferred): Develop business opportunities by creating compelling proposals and presentations, demonstrating an understanding of both market needs and potential growth strategies.
RequirementsMinimum 6-7 years in the consulting industry, with a focus on public sector consulting or ESP advisory.
Proven expertise in master planning, policy advisory, economic modelling, and feasibility analysis.
Demonstrated experience in managing project teams, conducting client engagements, and leading workshops.
Based in Kuala Lumpur or open to relocation.
Commercial Acumen (Preferred): Business development experience is a strong plus, with an ability to identify growth opportunities and create impactful proposals.
Strategic Thinking & Problem-Solving: Ability to craft comprehensive strategies and actionable insights.
Client and Team Leadership: Skilled in client communication, team management, and solutioning in high-stakes environments.
Economic & Financial Analysis: Proficient in economic impact assessment, feasibility studies, and demand modelling techniques.
Storyboarding & Proposal Development: Strong narrative-building and storytelling abilities for developing persuasive client proposals.#J-18808-Ljbffr
