Distribution Manager

Responsibilities Develops appropriate product distribution and supply chain strategy to maximize customer satisfaction at the lowest possible cost.Leads the distribution team in executing best practices in distribution work processes whilst ensuring HSE requirements are met.Manage asset, manpower, scheduling and product sourcing requirements to ensure distribution fleet are able to function at its optimal capacity. Directs and coordinates global supply chain functions through strategy, resource optimization, profitability maximization to achieve customer satisfaction. Plans, manages, and coordinates all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies needed to meet the changing levels of product demand. Works directly with sales department to determine most cost-effective distribution solution for finished goods transportation to customers. Oversee the operations of the shipping department, ensuring efficient coordination, timely deliveries, and compliance with all regulatory and company standard. Transport Management System (Local) and Asset Tracker System Management. Ensure customer satisfaction and compliance of Food Safety Management System (FSSC). Support management report and proposal dateline. To ensure that the established processes of QMS are implemented and maintained including planning and conducting internal audits. To perform any additional task that assigned by Management as and when required. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.Responsible to report food safety related problems.
