Draughtsperson

Join ASTEEL as a full-timeDraughtspersonin our Bintulu, Sarawak location. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and designs to support our engineering projects and objectives.
What you'll be doing
Produce 2D and 3D design drawings and models using CAD software
Interpret design specifications, engineer plans and technical data to create accurate engineering drawings
Collaborate with engineering teams to understand project requirements and develop design solutions
Ensure all drawings comply with relevant standards, regulations and company policies
Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed
Maintain organized filing systems and project documentation
What we're looking for
Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting or a related technical field
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Draughtsperson or in a similar technical design role
Proficient in using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Solidworks or similar
Strong understanding of engineering principles, technical standards and construction methods
Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret complex technical information
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multi-disciplinary teams
Ability to work independently to tight deadlines while maintaining high quality standards
