Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cross-Border Transport Driver to join our dynamic team in Johor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in long-haul trucking, a thorough understanding of international transport regulations, and a dedication to safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities: Safely operate and drive company vehicles across international borders, primarily between Malaysia and Singapore.Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.Ensure all necessary documentation, including customs paperwork, is accurately completed.Adhere to all local, national, and international transport regulations and company policies.Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any issues for maintenance.Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and border officials.Maintain detailed logs of working hours, deliveries, and vehicle conditions.Handle goods with care to prevent damage during transit.Qualifications: Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.Minimum of 3 years of experience in long-haul trucking or cross-border transport.Strong knowledge of cross-border transport regulations and customs procedures, especially between Malaysia and Singapore.Ability to navigate and use GPS systems efficiently.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.High level of physical fitness and the ability to handle long hours on the road.Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected situations.Preferred Qualifications: Experience with specific types of goods, such as perishable items or hazardous materials.Bilingual or multilingual abilities (e.g., English, Malay, Mandarin, Tamil).Certification in defensive driving or other relevant training.Benefits: Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.Health, dental, and vision insurance.Retirement savings plan.Paid time
