The e-Vigilation Supervisor is responsible for delivering high-quality administrative support to ensure the effective operation of the University's eExams. This role encompasses a variety of tasks related to maintaining the integrity of online exam delivery, online supervision of students attempting eExams, and providing tier-one technical support as required.
The e-Vigilation Supervisor is the primary point of contact for students during their examinations and is expected to offer timely professional advice and first-level technical support, ensuring a smooth and efficient e-Exam experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESe-Exam Supervision:Ensure adherence to eExam rules, operational standards, and protocols to uphold the security and integrity of assessments, promptly reporting any suspicious behaviour or activity.
e-Exam Delivery:Provide calm and professional support to students, demonstrating respect and empathy in line with eExams guidelines and maintaining privacy and confidentiality throughout the e-Exam delivery.
Provide Guidance and Technical Support:Offer clear guidance and tier-one technical assistance to students during e-Exam supervision to ensure a smooth exam experience.
Foster a Positive Workplace Culture:Contribute constructive feedback and suggestions for service improvements and actively engage in activities that promote a collaborative and positive workplace culture.
Maintain Effective Communication:Apply open and effective communication with students, staff, and stakeholders to support smooth and coordinated e-Exam operations.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIAEducation/Qualifications:The successful candidate will possess:
A minimum diploma-level qualification with relevant work experience; or
A comparable combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Knowledge and Skills:
Proven administrative skills with experience in coordinating efficient and compliant processes.
Strong organisational abilities, including effective time management to meet deadlines.
Front-line customer service experience with a demonstrated commitment to delivering excellent service.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively within a diverse and cross-cultural team environment.
High attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity.
Proficiency in computer literacy, data entry, and word processing, with experience in business software (e.g., Microsoft Office) and an agile mindset for adapting to new systems.
OTHER JOB RELATED INFORMATIONThe incumbent must not be currently enrolled in any coursework units at any university.
The role requires a minimum commitment of 3 hours and a maximum of 8 hours per day, with shifts scheduled between 7:15 am and 8:15 pm on campus.
High availability is essential during examination periods, as the incumbent may be requested to cover sessions on short notice.
While not compulsory, having a personal laptop for work-related tasks will be beneficial.#J-18808-Ljbffr
