Our client "?TDK Electronics (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd." is seeking a Engineer / Senior Engineer – Quality Engineering to join their company! What you'll be doing? Functional description: To assure quality at each stage of production process right from raw material, equipment, personnel, method and environment by following set QA standards through Process / Product audits, gathering and statistically analyzing data from sources such as Internal failure analysis (BAR), Customer feedback & response through 8D reports, SPC violations and Yield analysis. Embark towards zero defect through continuously review, input and enhance knowledge and system to capture even small lapses in the system, input after consultation with the authorities and improve the robustness of the QA system. Prepare, review (based on customer feedback from OQA & End customer) and execute daily process check for critical processes to achieve zero defect.Coordinate failure analysis with Process Technique and derive conclusion based on Ishikawa. Maintain and Track action list – Scrap together with PT, BAR failure and Customer claims, PIC & time bound, effective closure and documentation update with evidences for future reference.Publish failure PPM trend, initiate and follow up scrap reduction plan towards zero defect.Drive Q document updating such as PFMEA, Control Plan and WI according to the CAPA, Failure analysis, Customer claim or BAR failures, Reliability tests outcome and ensure its effective implementation.Prepare and execute in consultation with QA Head - Training effectiveness plan and Qualification of Production Engineers, Operators following set standard.Daily monitoring of SPC and raise tickets for out-of-control instances (SPC Violations). Initiate additional SPC tags based on the failure analysis to march towards zero defect.Prepare and execute in consultation with QA Head - Process audit based on PFMEA, CP & WI, Product audit based on Construction Guidelines and Production conditions such as Environment, Resources and 5S and raise tickets for Nonconformities / improvement.Ensure compliance at all Production stages right from IQA until OQA, all actions initiated from MR, TDR, BAR Actions, Customer Claim, Equipment & Process Release, Reliability tests and other tests as planned / defined for Customers application.Drive Automotive Safe launch and release document preparation and maintaining traceability records.Change Management - Involve and ensure validation on special causes such as major modification / maintenance of equipment, process changes (hardware / software / system) and new production personnel with close confluence with PD, PCD, PT and Maintenance departments. Maintenance Process change record pertaining to 4M + 1E changes.Prepare 8D report for Customer claim, ensure effective implementation of corrective actions in close co-ordination with Outgoing Quality, Production and related functions.Responsible to ensure data traceability, maintenance and retrieve data Raise Claims for Material deviations (IQA) identified in serial production, block stock, quarantine action and follow up until effectively closed within the time frame. Maintain, periodically review and update the claim action related to Material / Vendor issues.Prepare, Implement and Periodically review & upgrade Quality Assurance System plant wide in consultation with and as directed by QA Head.Initiate request for automation of data transfer to databases and traceability for quick retrievability.Participate in vendor audit and visits based as required and delegated by QA Head.Initiate request for task force setup for special causes arising from Process deviations, Customer demands / request and any other topic requiring technical expertise. Initiate discussion for Singular incidents and Warning Violations of SPC and document preparation for special releases and follow up for strict adherence to the agreed metric.Audit & raise violations on upkeep of Incoming, Outgoing Quality documentation, Clearance records and ensure backups.Initiate system improvements to avoid product nonconformities arising from human error, process and equipment lapses and document for horizontal deployment towards achieving zero defect.Publish best practice during monthly QA Day celebrations and motivate other functions to contribute towards zero defect.
