Engineer, Test ManufacturingPrimary responsibilities include supporting test, troubleshooting, and test development of CCAs requiring In-Circuit Test and Flying Probe. Several of the platforms used include: Genrad 228x /Teradyne TSLX and 3070 ICT bed of nails testers and Takaya ATP9411 Flying Probes testers. This position requires close cooperation with the Operations team and other engineering and quality disciplines. The candidate will possess good communication skills and be able to work in a dynamic team environment.
Detailed DescriptionPerforms tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
Supporting production test of circuit cards on ICT and Flying Probe test platforms
Interpreting test requirements and documenting test procedures.
Analyzing data to drive issues to root cause.
Developing and executing improvement projects to increase first pass yields.
Engagement with operation team members to solve issues impacting test yields.
Ensuring hardware requirements are met and processes are followed.
Assisting manufacturing operators and technicians in the testing & troubleshooting of production hardware.
Developing test programs on ICT and Flying Probe test platforms.
Technical SkillsICT and FP testers hardware and software sustaining skills.
Digital and analog test / troubleshooting skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A continuous improvement mindset to enhance manufacturing test methods through process optimization and modernization.
Sound understanding of statistical analysis techniques.
Test software development skills such as Test Expert.
Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Physical DemandsDuties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
Occasional travel may be required.
Typical ExperienceMinimum of 3 years test engineering related experience in ICT and Flying Probes tests.
Typical EducationMinimum Degree in Electrical Engineering/Electronics Engineering.
