We are looking for an Engineering Executive to ensure the implementation, coordination and supervision of the maintenance and improvement of the factory's plant and equipment building and land excluding electrical equipment and instrumentation, ensuring that the factory's production targets can be met.
A day in the life of…
Ensure that the Production QMS and HAACP SOPs are flawlessly executed, troubleshoot and resolve line quality deviations in maintenance and equipment.
Effectively take prompt and corrective action in all areas of Engineering to minimize the impact of failure.
Manage all routine maintenance by setting up priorities to ensure the implementation of AMM schedule (PM 03) and to equipment feed up by product.
Control the production line routine M&R budget, troubleshoot and resolve line-engineering deviations, including resolving 'routine' breakdowns.
Follow prescribed guidelines, controlling materials, labour, General Factory Overhead (GFOH) and M&R usage variances.
Coach, train, and motivate the MDT1 teams in achieving Q, S, C, P targets.
Maintain good work discipline with fitters and operators, formally appraising the performance of fitters at least annually, developing staff, and conducting training, including identifying training needs.
Implement SHE SOPs and participate in identifying and resolving potential safety and environmental hazards.
Represent MDT1 teams at the MDT2 level, table ideas for Continuous Improvement (C.I.)
from MDT1 teams at MDT2/3 level, and participate in the implementation of C.I.
projects under the guidance of the Production Manager.
What Will Make You Successful:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical field, preferably in food manufacturing or consumer goods industry.
A degree in engineering, preferably in mechanical engineering.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
