Esh Officer (Manufacturing)

Conduct safety audits and on-site inspections to identify workplace hazards and unsafe equipment, working practices, or working condition.Investigate accidents, complete or verify accident reports, and liaise with technical specialists and external health and safety authorities to identify the causes of accidents and prevent their recurrence.Facilitate EH&S related program, projects and meetings.Recommend changes to working processes and conditions to ensure that all employees have a safe and healthy working environment and that the organization complies with all current and future regulations and laws and the organization's safety policies and standards.Educate and train the workforce on health and safety to ensure understanding and complianceMonitor permits, licenses & statutory requirements.Communicate with internal & external parties on relevant EH&S information Requirements:
Min Bachelor Degree in EHS. Certificate in occupational health and safety encouraged to apply.Proven experience as EHS Officer with min of 3 years of experience in manufacturing industry.In depth knowledge of legislation (e.g. OSHA/EPA) and proceduresKnowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practicesExperience in writing reports and policies for health and safetyFamiliarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statisticsProficient in MS Office; Working knowledge of safety management information systems is a plusOrganizational skillsDiligent with great attention to detailExcellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topic
